What the Scriptures say about Worry
(I John 4:4) You are of God, my little children, and you have overcome them because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
(Luke 21:14-15) So take care not to be troubled before the time comes, about what answers you will give: For I will give you words and wisdom, so that not one of those who are against you will be able to get the better of you, or to put you in the wrong.

(Matthew 6:31-33) Then do not be full of care, saying, What are we to have for food or drink? or, With what may we be clothed? (Psalms 50:15) Let your voice come up to me in the day of trouble; I will be your saviour, so that you may give glory to me.
(Mark 4:19) And the cares of this life, and the deceits of wealth, and the desire for other things coming in, put a stop to the growth of the word, and it gives no fruit.
(Matthew 6:34) Then have no care for tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Take the trouble of the day as it comes.
(Matthew 11:28-30) Come to me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and become like me, for I am gentle and without pride, and you will have rest for your souls; For my yoke is good, and the weight I take up is not hard.
(Luke 10:41-42) But the Lord, answering, said to her, Martha, Martha, you are full of care and troubled about such a number of things: Little is needed, or even one thing only: for Mary has taken that good part, which will not be taken away from her.

(John 16:33) I have said all these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble: but take heart! I have overcome the world.
(Proverbs 17:25) A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitter pain to her who gave him birth.
(Proverbs 15:16) Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great wealth together with trouble.
(Luke 12:25-26) And which of you by taking thought is able to make himself any taller? If, then, you are not able to do even that which is least, why are you troubled about the rest?
(Psalms 145:18) The Lord is near all those who give honour to his name; even to all who give honour to him with true hearts.
