What the Scriptures say about Strength
(Philippians 4:13) I am able to do all things through him who gives me strength.
(Isaiah 40:31) But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness.
(I Samuel 2:9) He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the evil-doers will come to their end in the dark night, for by strength no man will overcome.
(I Corinthians 10:13) You have been put to no test but such as is common to man: and God is true, who will not let any test come on you which you are not able to undergo; but he will make with the test a way out of it, so that you may be able to go through it.
(Psalms 46:2) For this cause we will have no fear, even though the earth is changed, and though the mountains are moved in the heart of the sea;
(Isaiah 33:2) O Lord, have mercy on us; for we have been waiting for your help: be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of trouble.
(II Corinthians 13:4) For he was feeble in that he was put to death on the cross, but he is living by the power of God. And we are feeble in him, but we will be living with him through the power of God in relation to you.
(Psalms 10:17) Lord, you have given ear to the prayer of the poor: you will make strong their hearts, you will give them a hearing:
(II Thessalonians 3:3) But the Lord is true, who will give you strength and keep you safe from evil.
(Psalms 119:28) My soul is wasted with sorrow; give me strength again in keeping with your word
(II Timothy 4:17) But the Lord was by my side and gave me strength; so that through me the news might be given out in full measure, and all the Gentiles might give ear: and I was taken out of the mouth of the lion.
(Isaiah 40:29) He gives power to the feeble, increasing the strength of him who has no force.
(Proverbs 15:25) The house of the man of pride will be uprooted by the Lord, but he will make safe the heritage of the widow.
(Psalms 79:11) Let the cry of the prisoner come before you; with your strong arm make free the children of death;
(Mark 12:33) And to have love for him with all the heart, and with all the mind, and with all the strength, and to have the same love for his neighbour as for himself, is much more than all forms of offerings.
(Acts 14:22) Making strong the souls of the disciples, saying to them that they were to keep the faith, and that we have to go through troubles of all sorts to come into the kingdom of God.
(Ephesians 6:10) Lastly, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his power.
(I Timothy 1:12) I give praise to him who gave me power, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he took me to be true, making me his servant,
(Isaiah 41:10) Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.
(I Peter 5:10) And after you have undergone pain for a little time, the God of all grace who has given you a part in his eternal glory through Christ Jesus, will himself give you strength and support, and make you complete in every good thing;
(Psalms 28:7) The Lord is my strength and my breastplate, my heart had faith in him and I am helped; for this cause my heart is full of rapture, and I will give him praise in my song.
(Psalms 86:16) O be turned to me and have mercy on me: give your strength to your servant, and your salvation to the son of her who is your servant.
(Psalms 18:33) He makes my feet like roes' feet, and puts me on high places.
(Isaiah 12:2) See, God is my salvation; I will have faith in the Lord, without fear: for the Lord Jah is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.
(II Corinthians 12:9-10) And he said to me, My grace is enough for you, for my power is made complete in what is feeble. Most gladly, then, will I take pride in my feeble body, so that the power of Christ may be on me. So I take pleasure in being feeble, in unkind words, in needs, in cruel attacks, in troubles, on account of Christ: for when I am feeble, then am I strong.
