What the Scriptures say about Death
Romans 8:18
18 I am of the opinion that there is no comparison between the pain of this present time and the glory which we will see in the future.
Romans 8:13
13 For if you go in the way of the flesh, death will come on you; but if by the Spirit you put to death the works of the body, you will have life.
Romans 6:21
21 What fruit had you at that time in the things which are now a shame to you? for the end of such things is death.
Romans 14:8
8 As long as we have life we are living to the Lord; or if we give up our life it is to the Lord; so if we are living, or if our life comes to an end, we are the Lord's.
Revelation of John 21:8
8 But those who are full of fear and without faith, the unclean and takers of life, those who do the sins of the flesh, and those who make use of evil powers or who give worship to images, and all those who are false, will have their part in the sea of ever-burning fire which is the second death.
